Trash Can Falls has been a long time favorite among Boone locals. It’s a pretty small area with a single swimming hole. If you’re the adventurous type, Trash Can Falls has a few gnarly jumps that are sure to get your adrenaline levels up.

More Info: Trash Can Falls is a cool spot that many people have enjoyed over the years. The falls are located on Laurel Creek right before it dumps into the Watauga River. This unique area is home to a really sketchy creek jump. Mess this one up and they’ll be calling an ambulance. Besides the jumps, this is a nice area to beat the heat and relax.
Parking: Gravel pull off after bridge on right. Usually plenty of parking.
Approach: Trail across 321 from Parking Area. Easy 2 minute hike.
Camping: No.
