Today is Tuesday, August 21st and the students are back! It’s a whopping 64 degrees this morning and there’s a hint of fall in the air. Fall is my favorite season in the high country because it’s so refreshing. You just can’t beat sunny 50 degree days in Boone, North Carolina. So here’s to the class of 2016, we wish you the best of luck in your studies, travels and personal growth. College is a fun time and I’m proud to be a mountaineer. Go AppState!
Lastly, I’ll leave you with a little note about real estate. Remember that when you’re paying rent you’ll have nothing to show for it when you lease is up. When you’re crammed in your apartment you’ll be dealing with strict regulations (such as no grilling!) and loud neighbors. This time next year imagine yourself in a house that’s walking distance to campus that you own. It’s cheaper to buy a house than to rent and you’ll probably be able to turn a profit when you’re done with school. There are deals out there and we’ll help you find them at Boone Real Estate.
